A squash in a swimming pool
Surreal and peculiar, the Squash at the Tate Britain features a solo performer wearing a selection of squash and pumpkin masks in which they move and feel around the white tiled installation, designed to make us question what life would be like as a vegetable. Blow your nose
On one of the only sunny days we’ve had so far this year, we decided to hide away and see Picasso’s first ever solo exhibition at the Tate. Paintings, sculptures, drawings and photographs, his bold colours and abstract shapes have rejuvenated our creative minds. Rousing stuff with a solid gift shop.
We recently visited Balance Festival to get a taste of what 2018 holds for food and drink. Those shoes you just bought online, how much of your personal info did you give in order to buy them? The bank you’re with, your address, your social media? We give away an immense amount of our personal life to the internet. GDPR will basically replace the Data Protection Act 1998 and means that as the consumer we now have the right to know who, what and why our personal data is to be stored by businesses, where they’re keeping it and how they’re deleting it. Junior collaborated with the Vivobarefoot team on the interior design for their recently opened flagship store on Neal Street, Covent Garden, and in doing so, created the blue print for their global retail experience. We worked alongside Asher, Vivo’s co-founder and the creative force behind the brand to transform the London location into a place that showcases the shoes in their intended environments as opposed to a traditional retail space.
